Press release of the international expedition on the Ural River

On July 20, an international Kazakh-Russian historical, cultural, ecological and sports-tourist expedition along the Ural River with the participation of the delegation of the Orenburg region started. The start of this expedition began on the territory of the West Kazakhstan region. The expedition will last until July 24, 2022.
On July 19, 2022, a round table "Providing access to information on environmental protection and transboundary rivers, including the Ural River" was held at the Atameken Palace of Arts with the participation of the Vice Minister of Ecology, Geology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan Suleimenova Z.B. , deputies of the Mazhilis of the Parliament, the leadership of the region, scientists of Kazakhstan and Russia, as well as the public of the Urals.

Today, the meeting of the Akim of the region Iskaliyev G.N. with representatives of the Italian automotive company IVECO GROUP. Fruitful cooperation has been established between IVECO GROUP and JSC Uralskagroremmash in the mechanical engineering industry. Thus, on the basis of JSC "Uralskagroremmash" it is planned to produce IVECO buses, the first buyer of which will be the akimat of the region. Also, it was decided to open a service center "IVECO GROUP", which will provide production with spare parts, as well as repair this equipment.

Explanatory work among entrepreneurs and residents of the village of Saryomir, located near Lake Shalkar

On behalf of the First Deputy Akim of the region Utegulov A.K. On July 13, 2022, a trip was made to the Shalkar Lake of the Terektinsky District with representatives of the DGD of the WKO, the DES of the WKO, the DSEC of the WKO, the UPIIR of the WKO, the akimat of the Terekta district and the regional chamber "Atameken". As part of the visit, explanatory work was carried out among entrepreneurs and residents of the village of Saryomir, located near Lake Shalkar.

During last year's trip to Turkey, Akim of the region Gali Iskaliyev supported the proposal of the Turkish businessman Aydin Ibragim on the implementation of a project for the processing of hides and wool.

In a few months, the idle plant for the primary processing of skins of Posh Runo LLP was restored and the export of products for deep processing began. 30 jobs restored.

At the meeting, they discussed the next stage of the project - processing sheep and goat wool, with the production of lanolin, processed wool and other types of products.

The Turkish investor expressed his readiness to start production of finished products from leather and wool in the city of Uralsk in the future.

The ethno-festival "Aqjaiyq fest" was held

In honor of the International Children's Day and the opening of the summer season, the Department of Entrepreneurship and Industrial and Innovative Development of the West Kazakhstan region held an entofestival "Aqjaiyq fest".
